In this section, there will be videos responding to different needs and at different levels to help the children and adult learners, in general, have a clear idea about our approach and philosophy in teaching French.

This Intensive French Beginner Course, made up of 2 parts with 10 video-lessons each, puts emphasis on the verbal aspect of the French language. It covers a wide range of material used in all schools, from Grades 2-8, where French is taught. We suggest that students do 2 lessons per month, from September to June, and review the whole course during the months of July and August.

This Video-Course, unique of its kind on the market, provides the students, from the comfort of their own home and at their convenient time and pace, with countless opportunities to express themselves fluently and correctly in French, by helping them know where their mistakes are, and providing them with clear and detailed explanations, in both French and English, so they can avoid making the same mistakes again.

By using an engaging Material, the product of my 40 years of teaching French and writing, mainly dialogues with a relevant and proper vocabulary that helps the students understand the grammar rules, and by applying an innovative Methodology that puts emphasis on the importance of speaking the language first, the students in this course will feel their progress, in a very concrete, not perceived way, in a matter of days.

Finally, my Methodology and Material come with a Maintenance guarantee to my Video-Course, which makes it unique and different from other courses on the market. I will always be with you on your Journey, ready to respond to your questions and eager to make your French Journey an unforgettable experience.

I prepared these unique courses with three main recipients in mind:

  • Students who have never had any contact with the French language, so they can develop their verbal fluency before the written one, use the vocabulary acquired instantly, read with intonation and expression and keep in touch with what they learn in French on a daily basis.
  • Students who are enrolled in a French only, French Immersion or Core French programs in the school system, in need to improve their verbal proficiency, understand the nuances between French and English and keep in touch constantly with what they learn in at school especially in the domain of verbal fluency.
  • Parents who have no knowledge of the French language, so that, due to our unique methodology, videos' content and reviews, they can learn French, follow the daily progress of their children and feel confident enough to monitor their progress.
  • Each course will have some of the following activities:

    1. Introduction video
    2. English version of the French dialogue
    3. French dialogue

  • Professor Khoury has instructed three of my children in his unique French curriculum. I highly recommend his method. His emphasis on oral French first, helped my kids learn the necessary vocabulary before they moved onto grammar. As a busy homeschooling mom, I would find it difficult to fit French into our school day. I also found it hard to find the right curriculum. Professor Khoury's classes were exactly what I was looking for because they work. When we enrolled our oldest daughter in high school, her credentials from Professor Khoury's class was considered a grade 9 equivalency credit. Likewise, our younger son took these classes prior to entering high school. Once he was enrolled, he successfully completed the grade 9 academic French course. Thank you Professor Khoury!"

Course Description

This Intensive French Verbal Fluency course puts emphasis on the verbal aspect of the French language. It covers a wide range of material and is aimed at enabling the learners to speak the language fluently and with confidence.

Course Goals

Upon completing this intensive French Verbal Fluency course, the students with no previous knowledge of French will build a solid and rich vocabulary that will enable them to use the language properly and instantly, verbally first, read with expression and intonation and then write, by responding to the challenging opportunties created by the instructor through every lesson. And those with some contact with the French language, will feel more empowered to speak French correctly by exposing them to a relevant vocabulary that will enrich what they have already acquired, and will make them aware of the errors made due to the influence of the English language on their ability to express themselves in French.

Target Audience

This video-course is intended for:

  • Students who want to learn how to express themselves properly in French.
  • Learners new to the French language, or who had taken French courses before and want to enhance their verbal fluency.
  • Supply and Occasional teachers looking to learn French or to improve their verbal fluency in this language.
  • Adult Students who, despite the many French courses taken, are still looking for that Magic Baguette to help them raise their level of verbal fluency in French, rather than their level of frustration, and prepare them, in a real and not perceived way, to never say again:
"I understand the question but I am not confident enough to respond".

I found  this Intensive French Fluency course extremely helpful.  It was a great refresher for me and the information on the videos most beneficial. It was presented in a very logical order that I found easy to follow and there were great explanations of some things that I had previously memorized in French courses but had never really understood the reasoning.  I know it will be a great reference tool for me that I will turn to time and time again.

I enjoyed the content of this course very much. I use it often for referencing and to refresh my memory. Mr. Khoury uses media tools to help the reader understand problems and speaks English and translates sentences to French for ease of understanding. I recommend this course to students who are looking for extra help in understanding basic rules and for reference purposes.

I found this Intensive French Verbal Fluency course to be an excellent resource to review and to improve the French I learned through my 13 years in French immersion. I find it to be an avenue to a more well rounded French vocabulary. The repetitive action of listening to the audio gave me a solid understanding of the material and helped me successfully improve my oral French. The content goes beyond a list of vocabulary to the everyday uses of the expressions which makes the application into your life seamless."

This course is a useful and interactive method of teaching. Personally, I am more of a visual/auditory learner, so simply reading something will not allow me to fully understand or memorize it. Your videos were clear and concise and gave very useful information.
Most people want to jump to the difficult and more complex topics when learning a new language, mainly to fast track their learning, but what they do not realize is that when you learn a new language, you need to fully and thoroughly understand the basics before you can move forward.
The information presented through the videos were common errors that people don't even realize they may be using. It was good to have the correct version of a simple sentence or rule to guide people when writing. Since you incorporated the videos, I had the opportunity to read along while you spoke. I also made good notes on the things you said. What helped me was that you didn't simply follow word-for-word what the text said. You almost interacted with the listener and gave additional information to make the reading easier and understandable.
Overall, the concepts in your course helped me make a comfortable transition into my first year university French class. When I understood the concepts, it made me feel better prepared for the future of French studies. I found this course to be very useful and enlightening not only for university students but also for high school students. It could prepare them for university French and make them more aware of some of the common mistakes in the French language.

This course has and will continue to help me relearn the French language. I had not spoken much French since high school and as an adult, I felt overwhelmed going into first year French at the University of Windsor.

I highly encourage not only people who have been away from French to take this course, but also high school students entering at the University. It would refresh their knowledge and teach them proper French prior to attending a language course at the University level. Your videos incorporate useful information that is involved in the course curriculum. This course is a wonderful asset for me, since grammar has always been somewhat difficult for me to comprehend, and for anyone wishing to grasp the base concept of language and its grammar.

I highly recommend it. It is useful for every type of learner.
